At Crest Wave Boutique Hotel, we are continuously monitoring the development of COVID-19 around the world, and primarily in Malaysia. Our number one priority is the well-being, health and safety of our guests and employees. In order to keep everyone safe, we have set up procedures, plans and routines, which we strictly adhere to.
We stand by our motto: "Clean. Comfortable. Convenient." Since our doors opened in 2018, we have only used Ministry of Health (MOH) and Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) approved products that kill bacteria and viruses, to sanitise and disinfect our hotel. From the beginning, we have always maintained a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, as we recognise the importance of this, and will continue to maintain these high standards.
In our attempts to ensure your surroundings are safe and sanitised, here are the high-frequency touch points in our guest rooms and public areas that are sanitised and disinfected frequently throughout the day:
Additional precautionary measures at our hotel:
MOH & DOSH approved products, such as disinfectants, sanitisers, hand sanitisers, floor cleaners, window & glass cleaners, aerosols, etc.;
All employees are required to wear face shields, face masks & gloves at all times. Guests are required to wear face masks as required by law;
All employees and guests are required to undergo temperature screening, sanitisation & contact tracing, as required by state mandates;
At least 70% alcohol-based hand sanitisers are provided at our hotel for guest and employee use. All employees are encouraged to continually practice good hand-hygiene by cleaning hands often with soap and water, or using hand sanitiser;
We strongly encourage the continued practice of social distancing. Markers have been placed in public areas of our hotel, including our Reception, Lounge and Work Areas;
Our Housekeepers have been extra diligent in cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, including room key cards, TVs, remote controllers, tables, door handles, switches, faucets, sinks, and toilets. Linen & towels are washed and changed daily;
Sanitisation of high-frequency touch points in common areas such as door handles, switches, and railings are carried out at least once every hour. Our Prayer Rooms remain temporarily closed until further notice;
None of our employees have travelled to high-risk destinations over the past fourteen (14) days. Travel declarations for past and future travel are mandatory for all employees.
